Brahms and Co is a french musical duet from Paris composed of dj brahms (mix,samples,scratch) and Co (trumpet, talk box)
Their original and classy musical performance is a perfect example of the french touch musical style. Their wide repertoire range (soulful jazz, rare groove, latin, lounge, deep house, electro, funky house) allow them to perform in a lot of different type of venues, clubs or fashion shows around the world since 2004.

Their original and classy musical performance is a perfect example of the “french touch” musical style. Their wide repertoire range (soulful jazz, rare groove, latin, lounge, deep house, electro, funky house) allow them to perform in a lot of different type of venues, clubs or fashion shows around the world since 2004.
Together they have played in countries such as : France, Japan, Emirates, England, Singapore, Ireland, Thailand, China, Lebanon, Korea, Vietnam….
Their sets are pure travel into music wich successfuly mix dj act and real instruments into a smooth, tasty, groovy and original sound.
Brahms and Co’s evolutive set starts at sensuals dowtempo and gradually leads to the dancefloor so it s not unusual to see them perform in a trendy lounge spot on a thursday(Buddah Bar) or on a big club (Ministry of Sound) on friday night. The luckyest will bump into them on a saturday night in Bangkok at Bed Supperclub…there the boys will give you a full demonstration of their talent and ability to slowly take the crowd with them into a musical voyage. It’s like that with them! First you are just having diner or a drink then gradually you start to feel Co’s trumpet anserwing to Brahms remix in a elegant jazzy atmosphere and the moment after you are letting yourself go on the dancefloor with all your friends and some new ones!
In clubs Brahms and Co are developing a groove that really makes the difference, their house is funky and electro, Co’s talk box (device wich mix the voice and the keyboard used by Steevie Wonder, Daft Punk, Zapp) is anserwing to dj Brahms scratches and extraordinaire live remix skills.
Their own studio regulary produce (on stage or recordings) music for fashion shows (Dior, Gucci, Zegna, Castelbajeac…) they also produce music for movies, documentaries,websites,luxuryhotels,launch products with the same “savoir-faire” and artistic high expectations.

When I came across the dynamic duo of Brahms and Co. I was caught off guard. I was in an adjacent room enjoying my evening and overheard what seemed to me to be a really cool beat, when suddenly an incredible trumpet line began. I thought to myself that this was the best sample I had ever heard. I walked in to the club proper and witnessed Brahms and Co. laying down the funkiest music I had ever witnessed live and low and behold what I thought was a sample was actually the live horn of Corentin de Vos. I was so impressed that I vowed there and then that my magazine would be doing a cover story on these two guys. I have since gotten to know them both as the wonderful intelligent people that they are. Brahms and Co deliver a unique act which is a mix of sartorial elegance and seriously infectious grooves. I had the opportunity to hire the duo for Bed Supperclub for more than a dozen times and have always been amazed by their professionalism and desire to "perform" from sound check to the delivery on stage. They have integrated both visual and acoustic dimensions in their act. Always sophisticated, setting a very high standard of quality to what they play. Don't expect acrobatics and goofy stunts from them, their style is very discreet, but boy, can you hear that sound?
